As we continue to deal with the issues caused by COVID-19 we wanted to share this article with you. It gives some interesting information and insight on how the NYS Workers’ Compensation Board is handling work related COVID-19 cases. While we were hoping for a state mandate to cover these workers, this illustrates the difficulties we are seeing at the trial level while trying to get benefits for essential workers who contracted this disease while working. We are continuing to fight for our clients in court, as well as continue to pressure Albany to best protect our clients and everyone affected by this pandemic.
