So, I honestly think there are probably two biggest mistakes you can make. You really can't destroy a case in the first 48 hours, but you can make things much more complicated. And what I mean by that is the two things you should do. You got to notify a supervisor, preferably in writing. Whether it's your direct supervisor or the main supervisor of the company, you really, really want to make sure you get the incident on notice, especially if it's unwitnessed. Okay? Okay, if it's unwitnessed, you

really you should ask for surveillance video if there is any, but you should really get it on notice that you had the injury. Okay, and then see a doctor. I tell clients all the time, if the injury is nothing, that's great. That's the best possible scenario. That's the best news that we can have. But what happens a lot of times, people are human and they're they're they're busy. they have families and they wait and they wait and they wait and now it's 6 weeks that have

gone by and maybe they mentioned it in passing to their supervisor and they haven't seen a doctor and then now we have a world of problems. You have 30 days to give notice to your employer about the injury but then you have time to see a doctor but you have to give notice right and then see a doctor. So those are the two things that really sabotage a lot of cases right at the outset, right in that critical 48 hour period.
