Obviously, I would say to you, you want to find somebody with experience, right? You don't want somebody who dabbles in workers' compensation. It's a very complex system. It's not something that a general practitioner should do. Uh, you should have an attorney that specializes in workers' comp. My firm has been doing this for almost 35 years. I've been doing it for about 30 years. This is all we do. We don't do anything other than New York State workers' compensation. Um, so, we're pretty well versed in it.

We have good relationships with other attorneys that we deal with — uh, with the carriers' attorneys. We know the judges. That's very, very important. We're also very old school at my firm. I'm a big believer in an in-person consultation.
